A side project by Daniel Land of the Manchester, UK shoegaze band Daniel Land & The Modern Painters. Taking its name from the first line of James Joyce’s modernist, subconscious masterpiece Finnegan’s Wake,riverrun is a series of ‘secret’ ambient recordings that Land has been working for over a decade in parallel to his songs.
The debut album by Daniel Land & The Modern Painters, 'Love Songs For The Chemical Generation' is released 9 November 2009.
