Not to be confused with hip-hop artist Redman, who gained fame in the UK since Andrew Amery chose his alias, Andrew's artist name stems from his ginger hair. Andrew's first track was the hardcore techno tune "Mindwarp" from March 1996. In 1997, Redmann tracks became more trance influenced though the Redmann sound we know today arguably started in 2000 with "Zero Gravity", in which Andrew combined trance synths with a funky house feel and chilled guitar sounds. In 2002, Andrew changed his style to produce "Embrace", his first downtempo chillout track - although still with a very recognisable Redmann feel. Since then, Andrew has continued to produce a blend of trance, funky house and chillout with a melodic and slightly commercial feel. In recent years Andrew has continued to develop his sound, and has recently experimented with laid back electronic and synthesized sounds on "Born Into It" and the "God In The Detail E.P." during 2007 and 2008, while also bringing back the piano and v…
