A relatively uptempo release on This Side Down is the second piece of the Resurge puzzle. Three unique tracks coming from two familiar faces and yet another newcomer on This Side. No stranger to us, Yiannis Likos shared one of his tracks a long time ago, a piece of music we always wanted to place as a release starter and that now seems to have found a perfect fit. Late Nites is a completely hardware based, timeless retro-feel electronic track that blends beautifully a phat bassline, a wicked flute and rich snares to a great effect. Lee Fraged takes an opposite approach with his laptop acid electro track Helix composed deep in the mountains using his headphones only. Blunt beats and moody pads pair up with 909 based percussion and an acidic bassline taking you with him in a downward spiral. Mick Chillage, after his great releases on Pete Namlook's FAX records and txt recordings, offers up another of his exquisite tracks, Alive With Wires, a nicely arranged electronic track with mood…
