An album of songs completely written & recorded in one day - Saturday, 18th August 2012. On Saturday 18th August 2012, musicians from around the world each wrote and recorded a complete new song, from scratch in one day. The next day, these songs were collected and put together as this album. The day after that, the album was released as a free download! What you have here is an electic mix of music from around the world, all created on the same day. A lot of ambient, electronic and experimental music but also indie, post rock, dub and psychedelia. There are pristine productions along side recordings with hiss and distortion but, all in all, over four and a half hours of fantastic new music. And remember, none of the music on this album existed before Saturday 18th August 2012. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this project - music, art and support. Enjoy, the album. Share it with your friends in the knowledge that we will be doing this all over again in a few months!…
